We make this declaration on this 3rd. day of June in the year 2010, on the tomb of the Blessed , in the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha, Nigeria. The Shrine of Blessed Tansi is temporally located in the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha. This is a popular pilgrimage center for all the devotees of Blessed Tansi. As all of life is a journey, and at any point in time you are either moving closer to God or farther away from Him. Taking a spiritual pilgrimage, visiting a site or a person that has played an important role in your life can propel you closer to God. The faithful visit the shrine of Blessed Tansi so that they can know more of this man of God, how he lived his life and how they can model their own lives after his example. We see the glory of God in his saints and God intends for you to be converted just as he was. As you grow to understand who Fr. Tansi is, you devote yourself to God completely so you can love Him with your heart, soul, mind, and strength as Fr. Tansi did.

The purpose of this Cause is to make known to all the life, works and thoughts of this simple Nigerian Priest and Monk. To educate people in the value that he taught, to assist the apostolate to which he dedicated his life, to assist others in seeking his intercession and to undertake and pursue all efforts to the advancement of the Cause of canonization of Blessed Tansi in the Catholic Church according to the process prescribed in the Code of Canon law.
